Building the perfect Florida football recruit, the 2027 LB prototype

There is no such thing as a perfect recruit, but what if we could make one?
Better yet, if college coaches built a high school football player in a lab, what he look like? What would be the most important traits?
Basically, what would the Frankenstein Recruit look like?
Obviously, there really isn't one mold that would work. No coach is looking for a 335-pound wide receiver or a wiry, 175-pound speedster at defensive tackle.
Different positions have different requirements, which means every position is going to have the different desired attributes.
Using only Florida high school players from the 2027 recruiting class, USA TODAY Florida Network recruiting reporters Jon Santucci and Nick Wilson are building a Frankenstein Recruit at each position.
Here is the linebacker they built:
Frame: Theo Wilson, Armwood
USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 50
Verbal commitment: North Carolina
Bill Belichick is no stranger to elite players, and he and his staff recruited Wilson heavily because he has all the makings of an elite linebacker. The 6-foot-3, 230 pound rising senior has an NFL frame, a great wingspan, and high-end strength. Most impressively, he knows how to use all of it and was one of the most productive players for what may just have been the best defense in the state last year.
Tackling: Amarri Irvin, IMG Academy
USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 22
Verbal commitment: Virginia Tech
It can be difficult to stand out on IMG's loaded defense, but Irvin (6-foot, 220 pounds) is a heat-seeking missile. He has one of the most impressive form tackles we've seen on tape this cycle, using his length and momentum to bring down some of the most skilled players in the country. He's a gap-disruptor that can meet strong ball carriers at the line, and his speed helps him bring down receivers in coverage.
Speed: Kaden Henderson, Tampa Jesuit
USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 4
Verbal commitment: Texas A&M
Henderson is a 5-star for a variety of reasons, but his explosiveness might be his strongest attribute. He has devastating speed in pressure or coverage, and his chase-down speed is elite for his size (6-foot-2, 220 pounds). If he gets into the backfield, it's pretty much an assured tackle for loss (of which he tallied 13 through 10 games last year).
Range: Liufau Loumoli, IMG Academy
USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 53
Offers include: Washington, Ohio State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Michigan
Loumoli is a fluid, mobile athlete with impressive physical attributes that make his an effective linebacker. He has the top-end strength and physicality, but he's also very twitchy. He makes quick cuts and covers the field really well at 6-1 and 210 pounds.
Football IQ: Noah Renes, Niceville
USA TODAY Florida Top 100 rank: No. 82
Verbal commitment: Georgia Tech
Brett Keyes and his staff at Georgia Tech have keyed in on productive defensive players from Florida, and Renes fits the bill better than most. He has an elite ability to read and diagnose plays before the snap, and it translated to a team high in sacks (5.0) along with 18.0 TFL, a pair of pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a blocked field goal.
