A piece of college football history is for sale, though the cost might drop some jaws.
The Heisman House — the fictional home that winners of college football’s most prestigious award share, often with their schools’ mascots — is up for sale, as reported by Nick Kosko of On3.
Granted, there are several residences that appear to have been used in the Nissan advertising campaign, but this Pasadena home was prominently featured when Alabama quarterback Bryce Young’s equipment was stolen by his housemates.
USC legend Carson Palmer, for instance, is shown using Young’s helmet for protection as Florida’s Tim Tebow hurls him toward some pins in a game of human bowling.
So how much will this piece of college football history cost you? You might want to sit down.
The Heisman House is more of a mansion
According to Zillow, the house at 380 S. San Rafael Ave. will cost you $32 million.
In its defense, the home is 18,655 square feet and has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.
It sits on a gated lot that’s nearly 5 acres in Pasadena’s “most prestigious enclave,” the Zillow listing explains.
“Hidden behind gates and enveloped by majestic oaks, manicured gardens, and rolling lawns, the approximately 18,665-square-foot manor commands breathtaking views across the Arroyo Seco, creating the rare feeling of an English country estate in the heart of Pasadena. Its iconic castellated tower, slate rooflines, leaded-glass windows, and exquisitely preserved period detailing showcase a level of craftsmanship and permanence that is virtually impossible to replicate today.”
It’s also less than two miles from the Rose Bowl, something that’s surely of great interest to the well-heeled college football fan.
And if you’re not a football fan, there’s a big Hollywood connection as well.
“Steeped in cultural history, the estate is recognized worldwide as the exterior of Wayne Manor in the original Batman television series and has been featured in numerous acclaimed film and television productions,” the listing says. “Yet beyond its celebrated pedigree, the property offers every modern luxury, including a resort-caliber pool, pickleball court, private theater, and exceptional indoor and outdoor spaces designed for both intimate family living and grand-scale entertaining.”
Between the movies, the Rose Bowl and the Heisman connection, seems like the perfect fit for the USC fan in your life.
Maybe Caleb Williams will even drop by for next season’s Nissan campaign.
