TK Keys changes jersey number ahead of 2026 football season

Freshman wide receiver TK Keys enters his first season at Tennessee in 2026. He enrolled at Tennessee in January and participated in spring football practices.
Keys wore jersey No. 80 during spring football.
The Vols released their roster for the 2026 football season on Friday. Keys is listed as No. 5. He was also listed as 6-foot-2, 195 pounds in the spring. The freshman’s updated measurements are 6-foot-2, 198 pounds.
Keys is from Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. 247Sports ranked him as the No. 1 wide receiver in the class and No. 1 player in Mississippi.
He committed to the Vols on Aug. 28, 2025, flipping his commitment from LSU. Tennessee offered the 2026 prospect a scholarship on April 2, 2024.
Keys also signed a NIL deal with Adidas on June 4, 2025. The Vols became partners with Adidas on July 1.
Tennessee’s 2026 football season will kick off Sept. 5 at Neyland Stadium. The Vols will host Furman in Week 1 (3:30 p.m. EDT, SEC Network+).
