SEC schools trying to flip 4-star Georgia TE commit

The Georgia Bulldogs are having to fend off several other SEC programs to maintain a commitment from four-star tight end recruit Asa Wall, who is a member of the class of 2028. Wall committed to Georgia back in October 2025 following Georgia’s home win over the Ole Miss Rebels.

Wall is one of Georgia’s two commitments in the class of 2028 along with the nation’s No. 1 quarterback Jayden Wade. Wall is a rising junior at John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, Georgia. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound tight end is ranked as a four-star and is the No. 112 recruit in the country. Wall is the No. 6 tight end prospect in the nation and the No. 12 recruit in Georgia.

Other SEC programs like LSU, Alabama, Florida, Auburn and Oregon are all trying to flip the Georgia commitment. However, Wall has not wavered in his commitment to Georgia. The four-star is going to prove to be a tough player to flip.

Wall is a Georgia legacy. His dad, J.T. Wall, is the head coach of his high school and played fullback at Georgia before having a brief NFL career. Wall also has a strong relationship with Georgia tight ends coach Todd Hartley, who is one of the best recruiters in the country.

Wall visited Georgia earlier this summer and appears to be set on his commitment to UGA. The rising junior is focused on putting together another elite season after posting 47 catches for 941 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore. The stats don’t stop there. Wall rushed for 656 yards and 15 touchdowns. He posted 96 tackles and five sacks on defense too.
