Which Longhorns players will represent Texas at SEC Media Days?

SEC Media Days kicks off next week in Tampa, Florida. The four day event serves as the unofficial kickoff to the SEC 2026 football season. The Texas Longhorns will be featured on the final day of the function. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian will be joined by a trio of Longhorns stars.

The SEC has announced Texas quarterback Arch Manning, offensive tackle Trevor Goosby and defensive end Colin Simmons will be on hand to talked about the upcoming 2026 season with the press. The SEC Network will televise the four-day event with over 50 hours from the Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott in Tampa, Florida.

Manning is entering his redshirt junior year and his second full year as the Longhorns starter. Manning started all 13 games in 2025. He was 248-for-404 for 3163 yards and 26 touchdowns. The New Orleans native also threw seven interceptions and rushed for 10 touchdowns. He even had one receiving touchdown.

Goosby started all 13 games last season at left tackle, guarding Manning's blind side. The offensive line struggled at times last year, but the junior from Melissa, Texas was always one player that Sark could count on. Goosby was named a first-team All-SEC offensive lineman by the SEC’s coaches in 2025.

Simmons could be the best overall player in college football this year and is expected to be a top ten pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. The Dallas native had 43 tackles, 15.5 for loss, and a SEC-leading 12 sacks last year. Simmons was a second-team All-American and a first-team All-SEC selection in 2025.

Last year, Sarkisian was joined by Manning, Anthony Hill and Micheal Taaffe in Atlanta.
