Florida State has landed another pledge in the 2028 recruiting cycle. Three-star tight end Troy Silberzahn committed to the program on Tuesday, joining three-star athlete Chayse Brown, who committed last month.

Silberzahn is the No. 563 overall prospect and the No. 23 tight end per the 247Sports composite rankings. In the state of Florida, he’s listed as the No. 80 recruit.

FSU didn’t offer Silberzahn until May 1, and they hosted him for a camp on May 31. That was his only trip to Tallahassee, meaning the Seminoles wrapped this recruitment up very quickly.

As a sophomore, Silberzahn played in nine games at Cocoa High School. He logged 141 yards on 14 receptions and scored one touchdown while also rushing for 74 yards and adding two more scores. He transferred to Eau Gallie High School for his junior year.

Florida State also landed 2027 five-star kicker Vance Fones on Tuesday afternoon.
