SEC recruiting rankings after Georgia football's 4-star commitment

The Georgia Bulldogs secured a commitment from four-star defensive back recruit Adryan Cole over the weekend to provide a boost to Georgia’s class of 2027. The Bulldogs now have the country’s No. 12 recruiting class. Georgia is ranked behind six other SEC programs in 247Sports’ recruiting rankings.

SEC teams compose half of the top-10 recruiting rankings. The LSU Tigers and coach Lane Kiffin have been on a recruiting tear recently and are now ranked in the top-10. Another recent winner is the South Carolina Gamecocks. South Carolina has had a strong July and no longer has one of the SEC’s worst recruiting classes.

The Alabama Crimson Tide and Tennessee Volunteers are two traditional SEC recruiting powers that have struggled. Alabama has the No. 42 recruiting class in the country, while Tennessee has the No. 38 recruiting class.
