Class of 2026 tight end and one of the fastest rising recruits, Gavin Mueller, flipped his commitment from Colorado to Miami on Tuesday.
The four-star recruit was the Buffaloes' highest-ranked recruit in their 2026 class and had become a top-150 player in the country. Following his departure, Colorado's 2026 class is down to 11 total commitments. The group now ranks No. 87 nationally and No. 15 in the Big 12.
247Sports ranks Mueller as the No. 150 player in the class of 2026, the No. 7 tight end and the No. 4 recruit from the state of Illinois. He flips to a Miami class of 2026 that now ranks No. 10 nationally with 30 players committed.
Miami is 8-2 on the 2025 season and is still in play for the ACC Championship and a College Football Playoff spot. The Buffaloes, meanwhile, are just 3-7 and are now struggling to hold together their top-rated recruits.
