ESPN super computer predicts every Clemson Tigers football game in 2026

Expectations are high around Clemson entering the 2026 season, but does ESPN’s predictive model believe the Tigers are ready to return to the top of the ACC?

With kickoff just weeks away, ESPN has released its updated Football Power Index projections, including win probabilities for every game on Clemson’s schedule. The model takes into account team strength, returning production and other factors to project each matchup throughout the regular season.

According to ESPN’s projections, Clemson is expected to finish the regular season with a 10-2 record, including a 7-1 mark in conference play. The Tigers are favored in 10 of their 12 games, with only two opponents entering the season projected to have the upper hand.

Those projected losses come early. ESPN gives Clemson its lowest chance of victory in the season opener at LSU, while another road trip to Miami is also expected to be one of the toughest challenges on the schedule. Outside of those matchups, however, the model likes Clemson’s chances the rest of the way.

Several games are projected to be comfortable wins, including nonconference matchups against Charleston Southern and Georgia Southern. Other contests, such as the trip to Florida State, are expected to be much closer despite Clemson entering as the favorite.
