Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell ready to face Notre Dame

Count Wisconsin Badgers football head coach Luke Fickell as someone who is looking forward to seeing his team face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Week One.

"It's a great opportunity for us as a football program," Fickell said about the game, which will be a night game at Lambeau Field, home of the NFL'sGreen Bay Packers, on Sept. 6. The game will broadcast on NBC.

It will be a tough test for both teams — Wisconsin is supposed to be an improved team that will try to enter the College Football Playoff conversation, while Notre Dame has hopes of competing for a national championship. The Irish also have a chip on their shoulder following their snub from last year's playoff.

Add in the setting and the history of each program, and it should be a good one.
