We’re down to 36 days until the start of Penn State’s 2026 season!

It will also mark the first game day as a Nittany Lion for freshman running back Amar’e Glover. The three-star running back committed to Penn State after a long recruitment that spanned both James Franklin and Matt Campbell. Despite landing offers from Virginia Tech, Arizona, Duke, Pitt and others, Glover decided to roll the dice and come to Penn State as a preferred walk-on.

Glover had a successful career at Middletown High School in Delaware, where he helped lead the team to two state titles. Now he will turn his focus on working his way up the depth chart at Penn State.
