Tennessee football ranked in preseason US LBM Coaches Poll top 25

Preseason US LBM Coaches Poll top 25 rankings were released Tuesday ahead of the 2026 college football season.
Tennessee is ranked No. 18. Ohio State is the top-ranked team nationally and Georgia is the highest-ranked team from the SEC (No. 3).
The Vols will open fall training camp on Wednesday. Tennessee's season will kick off Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium.
Tennessee will also host Kennesaw State, Texas, Auburn, Alabama, Kentucky and LSU this season, while playing at Georgia Tech, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
2026 will mark the sixth season for the Vols with Josh Heupel as head coach.
