2028 four-star quarterback, Tennessee target schedules commitment date

Tennessee is one of six finalists in the recruitment of 2028 four-star quarterback Kaden Craft.

Rivals announced Monday the 6-foot-4, 210-pound prospect will announce his commitment decision between the Vols, Oregon, LSU, Florida, Ole Miss and Michigan on Aug. 17 at 4 p.m. EDT.

Craft is from Lake Norman High School in Mooresville, North Carolina. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 9 quarterback in the class and No. 5 player in North Carolina.

Tennessee offered Craft a scholarship on Jan. 22. He has visited Tennessee three times, most recently for Big Orange BBQ and a camp May 30-31.

Craft is one of six 2028 uncommitted quarterbacks who Tennessee has offered a scholarship to.

North Carolina was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Jan. 18, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Virginia Tech, Duke, Florida State, North Carolina State, Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Appalachian State, UCLA and Nebraska.

Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2028 football recruiting class.
