Since Deion Sanders became the Colorado Buffaloes head coach, practices have generally been closed to media members. This week, however, CU is opening its fall camp for fans,

The Buffs announced Sunday that fans can watch practice on Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. MT at Franklin Field, on the east side of Folsom Field. The university released a limited number of tickets, but they sold out overnight. All phones will be collected before entry into the practice field.

Fans are jumping on the rare opportunity to see Coach Prime's team work, as previous offseason opportunities were limited solely to the annual spring game. Sanders is shaking things up this fall with the entire offseason approach, whether that be his new roster-building strategy, offseason leadership retreat and most recently talking to the team on the road for the first week of fall camp.

Letting fans into one practice is not an earth-shattering move, but one that, clearly, is driven by the demand for tickets and is one Buff Nation appreciates. If you missed the chance to claim a ticket for Tuesday's open practice, only about three weeks remain until Colorado football returns. The Buffaloes will kick off the 2026 season on the road against Georgia Tech on September 3.
