'College GameDay' heads back out west for a rare double-dip

ESPN's Saturday morning pregame show, "College GameDay," is a staple for many college football fans each weekend. For Week 13, the show will head back to the Pacific Northwest to take on the No. 15 USC Trojans against the No. 7 Oregon Ducks.
While it is by far the best game of the weekend, many fans of the show were surprised that GameDay is returning to a campus for a second time during the regular season. However, because many SEC teams are playing cupcake nonconference opponents this week, the marquee former Pac-12 rivalry was the easy choice.
In the past, the show has ventured away from the Power Four level to attend a game with an interesting story, whether that be an FCS matchup or even a Division II game. That obviously did not materialize this week and probably rightfully so, as GameDay rarely passes on a top-15 ranked matchup.
Including Week 13, GameDay has attended two Big 12 campuses, two ACC campuses, five SEC campuses and four Big Ten campuses (including Oregon twice). GameDay has attended 12 different locations this season.
Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee serve as college football experts for GameDay, with a celebrity guest picker also chiming in.

Prediction GameDay's Week 14 location
To conclude the regular season, GameDay has a bit of a conundrum if it wants to keep the show on Saturday. Texas A&M at Texas, a CFP elimination game for the Longhorns, seems like an ideal choice, but it will be played on Friday, so that is out of the question. The Egg Bowl (Ole Miss-Mississippi State) and Georgia Tech-Georgia are also on Friday, putting the show in a tough spot. Ohio State at Michigan is always a good choice, as is the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn. The decision likely comes after Week 12, and I would not be shocked if the show went to a Group of Dive tilt to close out the regular season.
