The future of Kentucky football won’t be waiting around in Lexington this weekend. It will be under the Friday night lights—and in a few cases, staring directly across the line of scrimmage at itself.
Kentucky’s 2027 recruiting class enters another important weekend of high school action with commitments scattered across the country, from Kentucky and Ohio to Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, and beyond. It’s a group built across positions and state lines, giving the Wildcats’ staff another full slate of opportunities to watch its future take shape in real time.
There’s plenty worth tracking, but two games carry an added layer of intrigue: Rolesville safety Marquis Bryant meets Providence Day edge Griff Galloway in North Carolina, while Pulaski County offensive lineman Brady Hull squares off with Lexington Christian Academy tight end Conrad Hart in Kentucky. Four future Wildcats, two head-to-head matchups, and an early glimpse at players who could eventually share the same sideline in Lexington.

For Kentucky, this weekend offers another look at a 2027 group beginning to move beyond stars, offers, and commitment announcements and back into the part of recruiting that matters most: football. From quarterbacks commanding offenses to linemen working in the trenches and defenders hunting the football, Kentucky’s future will be on display across several states.
They’ll wear different colors this weekend. Eventually, the plan is for all of them to wear blue.
