As TCU kicks off its 2026 college football campaign across the pond against North Carolina, the Horned Frogs will be without one of their top offensive weapons.
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, TCU wide receiver Jordan Dwyer will be out for Aug. 29's Week 0 Aer Lingus College Football Classic matchup against the Tar Heels due to a foot injury despite traveling to Dublin for the season opener.
The Horned Frogs and Tar Heels are set for a noon ET kickoff at Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Dwyer started all 12 games last season in his first season at TCU. The 6-foot wide receiver, a member of the Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List, finished with 730 receiving yards and 54 receptions last season, seven of which were for a score. He had nine receptions and a touchdown for 136 receiving yards against the Tar Heels last season in Week 1 in Chapel Hill.
