One of the top local recruits from the 2028 recruiting cycle has locked in a gameday visit with the Auburn Tigers.

Kingston Brown, a three-star defensive lineman from Carver High School in nearby Columbus, Georgia, will visit the Plains on Saturday, Oct. 24, when Auburn hosts Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Brown's visit to Auburn is one of eight he will make during the season, and one of five stops at SEC campuses.

The number of visits Brown has lined up is a reflection of how much attention he is receiving early in his recruitment. LSU, Notre Dame, and Tennessee appear to be the top schools in pursuit of Brown according to 247Sports; however, Auburn is the favorite according to Rivals' predictions with a 32% forecast, one spot ahead of Georgia.

Brown has not locked in a commitment date so far, so Auburn will have plenty of time to sway the local product to stay close to home instead of committing to an SEC rival.

Brown's stop in Auburn will be the final SEC stop before he makes his way to Florida State, Notre Dame, and Washington. Before his trip to Auburn, Brown will visit LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, and Missouri. Brown is the No. 55 defensive lineman from the 2028 recruiting class, and the No. 59 player from Georgia according to 247Sports.
