The football season is getting an early start at Mercedes-Benz Stadium when it hosts a college football Week 1 game between Auburn and Baylor.
These two teams also faced off to start the 2025 season, when Auburn defeated Baylor 38 – 24. Auburn is the heavy favorite and that's good news for Alex Golesh heading into his first season as the Tigers head coach. Baylor will not be a rollover target with the Bears led by transfer quarterback DJ Lagway. Tickets are still available for this matchup with prices starting at $94.
