Kirby Smart and Georgia football are ranked No. 4 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll released Sunday, Nov. 23

The Bulldogs held steady after their 35-3 victory over Charlotte Saturday, Georgia‘s seventh straight win.

Georgia (10-1) plays next against No. 19 Georgia Tech (9-2) at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC on Friday, Nov. 26. Georgia Tech is coming off a 42-28 loss Saturday night against Pittsburgh. The Yellow Jackets slid seven spots in the poll.

The top three teams in the poll remain the same: No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indianan and No. 3 Texas A&M.

Georgia played its final regular season home game Saturday and has six days to get ready for the rival Yellow Jackets. Last year’s game was also a Friday matchup.

“It’s the same amount of time they have, we have,” coach Kirby Smart said. “It’s a little different this time for us in terms of timing and everything because we’ve got to go on the road this time.”
