Oregon Must Buy Into Dakorien Moore's Comments Prior to Loss vs. Oklahoma State

As the University of Oregon prepares for the remainder of the season, the focus will continue to be on what this offense can be. 

While there’s also been a lot of talk about how elite Oregon’s defense could, I think it’s important to continue to recognize that if Oregon wins a national title, it’s going to be because of guys like Dante Moore and others. This defense has been terrible, honestly.

As for how Oregon gets so many of these guys on the same page offensively, especially with only so many touches to go around, I really like what its star wide receiver had to say. Instead of feeling like Oregon needs to force-feed certain guys, the offense understands that it’s much better when everybody is playing a role.

"I know it was one time me, Dante [Moore], J-Mac [Jeremiah McClellan], Stew [Evan Stewart], JJ [Jamari Johnson]- we've all… Away from this facility and away from Oregon in general, making sure we stay close to each other because we know where our end goal is," Dakorien Moore said. "So just making sure our connection is the tightest. Other than that, it's just us going out there, making plays, and doing what we do best."

"One, I think credit is deserved. I thought [offensive coordinator] Drew [Mehringer], again, called a really good game from a standpoint of finding opportunities to either create a double move or work crossing routes on certain coverage looks," Lanning said. "I thought guys were in sync. They played unselfish ball. It seemed like the ball was distributed pretty evenly, and guys took advantage of those opportunities."

I really loved what Dakorien did over the first few weeks of the season and fully believe he’s going to be a big part of Oregon's chance to win the national title this season. While the loss hurts, Oregon can still get in and I’m not too worried about that.

I also like to hear that the young man isn’t too worried about all the extra stuff and just wants to play football and win games at a high level.
