Georgia Bulldogs transfer WR leads SEC in receiving yards

Former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Anthony Evans II has had quite the ascent since transferring to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Last season, he had 839 yards and four touchdowns on 67 receptions, and this season, he's elevated his game.
He is currently leading the SEC in receiving yards, with 239 yards on 14 receptions. His 239 yards rank No. 11 in the nation right now, and he's four yards ahead of Ole Miss receiver Deuce Alexander. He also has two touchdowns.
Against the ULM Warhawks, he had seven receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown, and against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, he had another seven receptions for 121 yards and another touchdown. He's been Kamario Taylor's No. 1 weapon, and the pair's connection has earned Taylor a lot of early NFL draft buzz.
When he was at Georgia, he showed flashes of a big-play wide receiver, but he didn't have a ton of chances. He had just 123 yards and a lone touchdown on 13 receptions in his two seasons at Georgia. Now, he's making plays for an SEC rival.
