‘Go back to Ole Miss’ – CFB fans go brutal on Lane Kiffin as Ole Miss dominates LSU in first half

Ole Miss have given Lane Kiffin the perfect return gift to Mississippi as they lead the highly anticipated SEC clash 24-7 at half-time.
Kiffin, who was the head coach of Ole Miss for six years, left the program in the middle of their playoff run to join LSU.
This led to huge criticism from not just Ole Miss fans, but also many other analysts in College Football.
It was Pete Golding who took over the reins of the program after Kiffin’s absence, and at the end of the first half, it is clear that he will be the happier of the two coaches.
It has been a Trinidad Chambliss show so far, as the Ole Miss QB has thrown for 248 yards and is currently 21-27 on his throws.
LSU reduced the deficit to ten points, but Ole Miss scored another touchdown right before half-time to extend the lead to 17 points.
Fans react to LSU’s first-half performance
In what has been a loud crowd in Oxford, Kiffin has been constantly booed throughout the game so far.
Fans on social media were even louder with their criticism, as they took to X to express their views on that first half meltdown from LSU.
One account on X wrote, “BREAKING NEWS! Lane Kiffin has decided to go back to Ole Miss at halftime after falling behind by 17.”
While a fan added, “Good! Lane Kiffin needs to be humbled. He’s not who he thinks he is.”
“ESPN hyped Kiffin all week like he somebody. What has Kiffin done that is substantially good besides riding coattails of REAL successful coaches?” another critic stated.
Someone also harshly said, “Imagine taking half the coaching staff that you bailed on the team on 2 days after a playoff clinch and now ur getting ur ass whooped Back at the same stadium. This was always going to prove if Ole Miss needed kiffin still. Which clearly they don’t.”
While another opined, “Trinidad Chambliss is cutting up this LSU defense like butter, I know Lane Kiffin is sick to his stomach tonight.”
With still another half left, Kiffin will be hoping his LSU team turn the game around, as a loss would be damaging for him this evening.
