The University of Mississippi Rebels just earned one of their biggest wins of the season, and quarterback Trinidad Chambliss made sure everyone in Oxford felt it. Fresh off leading No. 8 Ole Miss to a thrilling 32-24 victory over the seventh-ranked Louisiana State University Tigers on Saturday night, the star signal-caller let his emotions fly during his postgame interview.
Unfiltered and riding the high of a hard-fought SEC victory, Chambliss delivered a message directly to the doubters who questioned the Rebels’ staying power.
“No quit, a lot of people may doubt us, they always doubt Ole Miss, I don’t know why,” Chambliss said. “We’re here now, we’re here to compete…. Hotty f***ing Toddy.”

Chambliss had every right to talk his talk after putting together a heroic performance at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. After the Rebels jumped out to a commanding 24-7 halftime lead, the LSU Tigers stormed back with 17 unanswered points to tie the game in the second half. That was when Chambliss put the team on his back.
Engineering a clutch 75-yard drive in the fourth quarter, he faked a handoff and scrambled 14 yards into the end zone for the tiebreaking touchdown, followed by a successful two-point conversion to lock down the eight-point margin.
By the time the final whistle blew, Chambliss had dissected LSU’s defense for 363 passing yards, two aerial touchdowns, and that decisive rushing score. Defensive end Kam Franklin deflected a fourth-down pass at the goal line, and Jaylon Braxton’s end-zone interception sealed the win late. However, it was Chambliss who provided both the game-winning drive and the most memorable quote of the college football weekend.
