Lane Kiffin’s Daughter, Landry, Drops 7-Word Reaction After LSU’s Loss to Ole Miss in HC’s Heated Return to Oxford

Lane Kiffin left the Ole Miss Rebels for the LSU Tigers on Nov. 30, 2025, two days after Ole Miss completed the first 11-win regular season in program history, and returned to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday night for the first time as an opposing head coach.
Ole Miss fans booed and heckled Kiffin during his return, and the stadium played “Callin’ Baton Rouge” over the speakers after the final whistle. The Rebels won 32-24 in the first top-10 LSU-Ole Miss matchup since 1962.
Kiffin’s oldest daughter, Landry Kiffin, who remains a senior at Ole Miss despite her father’s move to Baton Rouge, watched the game from the sideline in a full gold Prada dress and posted an Instagram carousel afterward.

Landry had a rough week leading up to the game. Multiple banners appeared around Oxford containing vulgar references to Landry.
On Wednesday, three days before the game, Landry posted a TikTok response. She said the treatment crossed a line she felt obligated to address.
“I normally don’t respond to any hateful posts around game days, but this one actually hurts,” Landry said.
She stressed that she was being treated as a target for her father’s decisions. “I think that turning a girl into the punch line of a sexual joke because you’re upset at somebody she’s related to should not be OK.
“I understand emotions are high this week and people are upset, but I am my own person. I’ll just never understand how someone can feel good about themselves putting such vulgar things about a girl on a giant banner hanging from their house. I just hope people realize there is an actual person behind the jokes that they make,” Landry said.
She still showed up Saturday. The carousel she posted on Instagram included a picture of herself at the game, a flat lay of the full head-to-toe Prada outfit, a mirror selfie at a Bumble-sponsored pregame brunch with a yellow floral tablescape and her name card, and a shot of her in a yellow bubble-hem mini with rollers in her hair pouring prosecco at a mimosa bar.

“Well, at least the outfit was good,” she wrote in the caption.
Meanwhile, No. 7 LSU and No. 8 Ole Miss kicked off at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday in what was one of the most anticipated SEC games of the early season. Ole Miss got a 24-7 halftime lead and appeared to be cruising.
Then LSU scored 17 straight points to tie the game at 24 with just over 11 minutes left.
The comeback stalled when Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, whom Kiffin had helped connect with attorney Tom Mars during his fight for a sixth year of eligibility, led a 13-play, 75-yard drive and scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 14-yard run with 6:14 remaining.
LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt threw a tipped fourth-down pass that Ole Miss cornerback Jaylon Braxton intercepted in the end zone with 1:03 remaining to seal the win.
Kiffin dropped to 2-1 with LSU. Ole Miss moved to 3-0 and 1-0 in SEC play under new head coach Pete Golding.
After Chambliss’ touchdown gave Ole Miss a 30-24 lead with 6:14 remaining, Golding went for two, and the Rebels converted to push the margin to eight, a decision that ultimately held up.

Kiffin said after the game that Chambliss was “the hardest player to play against in America.”
Landry is dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks, a relationship that began before Kiffin left Oxford. She remained at Ole Miss after her father moved to LSU.
Her father, meanwhile, heads back to Baton Rouge after taking his first loss as LSU’s head coach. LSU and Ole Miss are annual opponents through 2029.
