Big 12 football rushing yardage leaders after Week 3

Iowa State's Aiden Flora had the best game of the week among Big 12 running backs with 194 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 12 carries, averaging over 16 yards per carry. His electric performance moved him into a tie with BYU's LJ Martin for the top rushers in the Big 12.

West Virginia also has an elite running back duo. Both Michael Hawkins Jr. and Cam Cook are top-10 in the Big 12 in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, as they both had exactly 123 rushing yards in their upset win over Virginia. However, Hawkins had all of the touchdowns, with three on the day, to move into the lead in rushing touchdowns in the Big 12.

Quarterback Avery Johnson with Kansas State also had himself quite a day in the Wildcats' win over Tulane. Johnson was their leading rusher with 12 carries for 152 yards and two touchdowns after barely having 100 rushing yards in their first two games combined.
