TV channel, commentators, kickoff time for Colorado football vs Baylor

The Colorado Buffaloes (2-1, 0-0 Big 12) travel to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears (2-1, 0-0 Big 12) in the Big 12 opener. Entering the season, Baylor was one of the Buffs' more difficult road tests, especially with the matchup falling between a road game at Northwestern and a marquee home matchup against Texas Tech. Throw in the blowout loss to the Wildcats, and you have yourself a near must-win this week.

Colorado has averaged just 10.5 points per game if you don't count the "cupcake" game against Weber State. That number alarms head coach Deion Sanders and must increase if Colorado has any chance of competing in the Big 12. It starts with redshirt freshman quarterback Julian Lewis taking a huge step forward, even if that means running the offense more consistently.

Against an opportunistic Baylor defense, a clean operation is a necessity, with the Bears one of the best teams in the Big 12 at generating negative plays. They also average two turnovers per game through three games, which leads the conference. After a four-turnover game last week, taking care of the football should be the No. 1 key for Colorado's offense against Baylor.

Baylor, unsurprisingly, is a significant home favorite, but given how much this game should mean to Colorado, I am not expecting a blowout. As we flip our focus to this week's matchup, here is an early look at the kickoff time and television information.
