One of college football's top matchups this week will have a significant guest.
President Donald Trump has attended a collection of big-time sports events throughout his time in office, from the World Cup and U.S. Open to the NBA Finals and the Super Bowl.
Now, on Saturday, he'll travel south for a ranked SEC matchup.
Here's what to know about Trump's plans to attend a college football game in Week 4.

Donald Trump to attend SEC Game
The Knoxville News Sentinel reported Wednesday that Trump plans to attend Saturday's matchup between No. 14 Tennessee and No. 1 Texas. Clay Travis also first reported Trump's plans to go to the game.

According to The Knoxville News Sentinel, Tennessee is "working under the assumption that the president will attend the game."
Saturday's matchup will pin two of the SEC's better squads to open 2026, with the Longhorns ranked first in the country after beating Ohio State, and the Volunteers off to a 3-0 start behind freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon.
ESPN's "College GameDay" will also be traveling to Knoxville for the matchup.

Donald Trump college football history
Trump has attended a few notable college football matchups in the past.
In 2024, he watched Georgia vs. Alabama in Tuscaloosa, a top-5 matchup that the Crimson Tide won. Earlier this year, Trump attended the College Football Playoff National Championship Game between Indiana and Miami in January.
He has also attended plenty of Army vs. Navy matchups, including the matchup at M&T Bank Stadiumin December 2025.
