Ticket prices for Tennessee football vs Texas drop as Trump plans to attend

Tickets to Tennessee football's home game against Texas are some of the most expensive of the season, but news that President Trump will attend the game and create long delays for fans has driven down prices.

Ticket prices on the resale market have gone down nearly $100 since Trump announced Sept. 23 he is coming to Knoxville for the game. The minimum price to get into Neyland Stadium for the game is now $408.

UT has warned fans attending the game to arrive early and prepare for longer wait times to enter Neyland Stadium because of added security measures.

ESPN's "College GameDay" will set the scene outside Ayres Hall on campus before the No. 13 Vols (3-0) host No. 1 Texas (3-0) on Sept. 26 (noon ET, ABC). This is the first time Texas and UT have played at Neyland Stadium.

Prices for the lower bowl range from $473 to $14,353 on StubHub, $430 to $3,963 on TickPick, $407 to $2,757 on VividSeats and $512 to $27,476 on SeatGeek.
