If you're in the state of Michigan, there's no bigger high school football game in the state this week than the annual showdown between Cass Tech and the King Crusaders.
One of the better Midwest rivalries, this series is as close as it can get, with both teams closing in on 40 all-time wins in the nearly 80 times they've played.
If you're not able to make it to Detroit on Friday night, here's everything you need to know about both teams and how you'll be able to watch the showdown from home.

Cass Tech football: What to know
- Detroit's premier high school football rivalry, Cass Tech holds a 39-37 series lead over the crosstown rival. The Technicians have won three straight in the series including a 27-22 win in the regular season and then a 35-19 win in the PSL Blue Division Championship game.
- Texas Tech 2028 five-star quarterback commit Donald Tabron II has been instrumental in leading Cass Tech to a 4-0 start this season. He's coming off of a sophomore season that saw him pass for 2,819 yards and 35 touchdowns.
- Defensively, only one team has been able to score on the Technicians this season. They've outscored their first four opponents 208-21 with three shutouts in four games.
King football: What to know
- The Crusaders will be looking to get some revenge after three straight losses to Cass Tech and they enter this game with some momentum. They're 4-0 on the year and aside from a 44-42 Week 2 win over St. Mary's Prep (MI), they've been dominant.
- In wins over Whitmer (MI), Renaissance (MI) and Ford, the Crusaders outscored them 122-13.
- King has plenty of future Power Four talent on the roster including Michigan State commit Don Spillers, Illinois safety commit Darryl Flemister and 2023 three-star defensive lineman Elijah Willis.
