USC should expect a special Jayden Maiava game against Oregon

The biggest factor in the season-defining game between Oregon and USC football will be which quarterback plays better. Jayden Maiava versus Dante Moore is must-see TV. Both defenses are extremely flawed; whichever QB can take advantage will lead his team to victory and set his team on the right path for postseason success.

Here is my take on which quarterback will play the best in this game:

Now that things have calmed down for USC following the disappointing performance against Rutgers. Jayden Maiava has an amazing opportunity in front of him. If he plays well, he can skyrocket his draft stock, insert himself into the Heisman conversation, and lead the Trojans to their biggest win, maybe in the Lincoln Riley era.

Jayden Maiava, I think, will come into this game ready to rock, and he will shine. He needs to be amazing for them to win, and I think he will. He has the confidence and trust in his weapons. Mark Bowman and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt both have shown they have Maiava's back. King Miller is a great physical back. Maiava and USC's offense can lean on him in spurts in this game. Maiava has everything he needs to go win this game.

The confidence is there for Maiava too. I think he goes out there and throws for 300 yards, and he will have another game where he has more touchdowns than incompletions. Lincoln Riley and Maiava will show that all the talk about this relationship growing was not for nothing.

Dante Moore will be right behind Jayden Maiava with a great performance too. However, what will make the difference is that the Ducks' run game will be the more dominant component of Oregon's offensive day. Moore will also be the quarterback who makes a costly mistake in the end. Dante Moore is a stellar quarterback, and he will showcase that he should be a top-selected quarterback in this game, but Jayden Maiva will get the best of him in Week 4.

No better game to have a legendary performance and cement himself among the greats at USC than beating Oregon at home. This will be a get-right game for USC. With how up-and-down Oregon has been this season, this loss will raise more questions about how good they are.
