Iowa (3-0) has a chance to make a statement on Saturday as the 17th-ranked Hawkeyes head to the Big House to battle No. 18 Michigan (3-0) in the two teams' Big Ten openers.

Iowa has opened its 2026 campaign with two shutout victories over Northern Illinois (40-0) and Northern Iowa (55-0) sandwiching its 16-13 Cy-Hawk win over Iowa State.

Meanwhile, Michigan needed a Hail Mary and an extra second to defeat Western Michigan in its opener, 13-12. But, the Wolverines responded from that controversial finish by downing then-No. 10 Oklahoma, 17-10, before rolling UTEP with a big second half last week, 52-17.
