2029 in-state edge to visit FSU on Saturday for Central Arkansas game

2029 three-star edge TJ Franklin was in Tallahassee to for a game visit with Florida State for their ACC opener against the SMU Mustangs. The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder is making a return trip for FSU's battle against the Central Arkansas Bears on Saturday.

"I will be in Tallahassee today #gonoles," Franklin announced on social media Saturday morning.

Franklin got his offer from Florida State back in May. So, getting him to attend multiple games this season already is huge in their efforts to get his commitment. The Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers are both in on Franklin heavily as well. He's been to both campuses, and Alabama hosted him last weekend when they played FSU in Tuscaloosa.

As a freshman, Franklin played in nine games at Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He registered 12 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two sacks. Franklin amassed 18 tackles, five tackles for loss, and three sacks in his first four games as a sophomore.
