Anytime Ohio State hits the road, it can be sure that it will get the opposing team's best shot. That will be no different this weekend when the Buckeyes travel to Iowa City to take on the No. 14-ranked Hawkeyes.
The crowd will already be hyped up after a visit from ESPN's College GameDay. It marks the first time in 20 years that the popular pregame show will be on Iowa's campus. Who was the opponent the last time GameDay was in town? You guessed it. Ohio State. Even though Lee Corso picked the Hawkeyes to upset Troy Smith and the No. 1 Buckeyes, Ohio State came away with a convincing 38-17 win.
It doesn't happen often that Iowa gets this kind of attention, so the university will be putting its best foot forward. In addition to College GameDay, there is a rumor that Nike will be there as well with some type of Caitlin Clark promotion. And for the game, Iowa has announced a sold-out stripe-out game. Kinnick does make for an easy aesthetic appeal in this manner. But we all know Buckeye Nation travels like no other fan base, so we expect to see more than a few pockets of scarlet in the crowd.
You know what to do.
