Oregon was officially eliminated from Big Ten Championship game contention when Ohio State defeated Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 29.
The No. 6 Ducks would’ve had a chance to defend their 2024 conference championship trophy if the Wolverines had beaten the Buckeyes and Oregon went on to defeat Washington Saturday afternoon at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
But Ohio State (12-0, 9-0 Big Ten) kept its undefeated record intact with a 27-9 victory against Michigan (9-3, 7-2) on a snowy day inside Michigan Stadium.
