Hurricane Isaias is expected to hit the Gulf Coast as soon as Friday and could be a Category 2 or 3 storm by that time. It comes right before Alabama will play Georgia in one of the biggest games of the 2026 college football season to date.
The stakes of this Alabama-Georgia game
Both Alabama and Georgia enter the game with 5-0 records. Georgia is No. 2 in the latest AP Top 25, while Alabama is No. 6.
The winner will be 6-0 and in the driver’s seat to play in the SEC Championship Game. Of course, the winning team will also get bragging rights.
Kickoff on Saturday is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
