ESPN's College GameDay picks Week 6's top games

Week 6 of the college football season is here, and ESPN's premier preview show is back to pick college football's most intriguing games.
This week, "College GameDay" was in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the top-25 SEC showdown between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide. The University of Alabama has hosted College GameDay 21 times since the show began broadcasting live on college campuses in 1993, second only to Ohio State, which has hosted 26 times. Alabama last hosted College GameDay on Oct. 4, 2025, ahead of its 30-14 win over Vanderbilt.
This week, the usual lineup of Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, and former Alabama head coach Nick Saban made their picks for this week's biggest games, with Bryce Young serving as this week's celebrity guest picker.
Young led the Crimson Tide to the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2020, and went on to win the Heisman Trophy in 2021, becoming the fourth Alabama player to win the coveted award. The Carolina Panthers drafted Young No. 1 overall in 2023, and he serves as the team's starting quarterback.
