The stage is set for Alabama vs Georgia, although how stable that stage will be remains to be seen.
With Hurricane Isaias expected to impact the game, the "College GameDay" set looked a bit different Oct. 10. With their voices echoing in the odd acoustics of Coleman Arena, the panel brought former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young on alongside Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, and the abstaining Kirk Herbstreit to pick the marquee game of the week.
In one corner you have Georgia, which has rolled over everyone it has played. This will be the Bulldogs' biggest test so far this season, as they look to do something Kirby Smart hasn't done often with the Dawgs: Beat Alabama. In the other is the Crimson Tide, one of college football's most consistent programs that has seen some of the shine rub off since Saban's retirement. But this game could be a coming-out announcement for Kalen DeBoer and Keelon Russell.
At stake is a leg-up in the SEC conference. Alabama-Georgia has been a fierce matchup in the past few years, even when one of the two is trudging a bit. Who did the panel pick to win?
