Social media reacts to Texas A&M football's blowout loss to Missouri

Things just went from bad to worse for Texas A&M football on Saturday, as the Aggies were demolished by the Missouri Tigers, 27-6, at Faurot Field in CoMo.

The Aggies' offensive drought against ranked teams continued in Week 6, as the unit has not scored a touchdown against a ranked team since the fourth quarter of last year's Lone Star Showdown against the Texas Longhorns. Much of that falloff rests on junior quarterback Marcel Reed, who has been far from consistent at the position in the SEC.

Defenders held Reed to just 187 passing yards, two interceptions, and a 49% completion rate. Texas A&M also managed just 29 rushing yards, compared to Missouri's 252 on the ground and nearly 400 total yards on offense. Needless to say, it was an afternoon to forget for the Aggies, one of their worst performances against an SEC opponent in a long time.

Here are some social media reactions from Texas A&M's first loss to Missouri since 2014:

Can Texas A&M afford to keep Reed as the starting quarterback?

It could have been much uglier than it ended up

The regression of A&M's offense is concerning

David Olano has been a massive bright spot for the Aggies

Texas A&M isn't the worst offense in the SEC… yet

Aggie wideouts could poof before our eyes

It doesn't get any easier from here

Texas A&M regretting its decision to hand Reed the big bucks?

Rough outing for the Aggies, to say the least

Major concerns and questions about the quarterback position after this loss

Disappointing is about the best word that sums this performance up

Reed's stock continues to plummet

Aggie QB could be one of the worst in college football

Even when Reed can find the Aggie wideouts, they do not help him out

Massive performance from Missouri's defense

Horrible throws and decisions from Reed all afternoon

The bad just keeps getting worse for the Aggies

Final score from one of the worst performances of the Elko era

The last time A&M was this bad offensively was the Jimbo Fisher era

Things just went from bad to worse in a hurry

A&M's lack of success against ranked opponents needs to be studied

It's been that kind of day for the Aggies

Something must change in College Station
