The FSU Seminoles currently have 15 players committed in their 2027 recruiting class, but they will have to fight to hold onto them. That battle got even harder on Friday when they lost to the Louisville Cardinals, falling to 3-3 overall and suffering their 11th straight road loss.

One of the schools looking to take advantage of their struggle is the Alabama Crimson Tide, which just offered a scholarship to four-star FSU commit Jernard Albright. The linebacker prospect is from Springfield, Georgia, and has already flipped once, with the Seminoles prying him away from the South Carolina Gamecocks on June 7.

While he is listed as a safety by every major recruiting service, FSU has recruited the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder as a linebacker. He did not give any indication in his tweet about which position the Crimson Tide are recruiting him at.

Albright is ranked as the No. 174 overall player and No. 14 safety in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 18 player from Georgia. He is FSU's third-highest-ranked commit and one of just seven four-star prospects committed to the Seminoles.

He has had a productive start to his senior season at Effingham County. In six games, he has made 33 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
