Alabama stock report: 3 players trending up after loss vs. Georgia

On Saturday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide hosted the Georgia Bulldogs in an undefeated, Top 10 showdown that had the attention of the entire college football world.

The game certainly delivered as well, as two of college football's premier teams went back-and-forth for 60 minutes with Georgia eventually coming away with a close, 20-17 road win. This was Alabama's first loss of the 2026 season, but despite the loss, that did not necessarily mean there were no positive takeaways for the Crimson Tide.

In fact, there were a number of Alabama players who impressed despite the loss, coming on offense, defense, and special teams.

Following is this week's Alabama stock report, which takes a look at three of those names who are now trending up after their performance Saturday night against Georgia.

Trae'shawn Brown, Running Back

The talented true freshman continues to make his case as Alabama's No. 1 running back atop the depth chart, doing so with yet another big showing Saturday night. Brown led the Crimson Tide in rushing with 90 yards on nine carries against Georgia, with his performance also including a 58-yard run, as well as one reception for seven yards.

Alex Asparuhov, Punter

Asparuhov had arguably his best game of the season Saturday night by punting five times for 193 yards, which is an average of 38.6 yards per punt. Each of Asparuhov's five punts were also downed inside the 20-yard line, with the Alabama punter overall doing an excellent job of not only flipping the field position, but also pinning Georgia against their own goal line.

Caleb Woodson, Inside Linebacker

The final player trending up is Woodson, who led the Crimson Tide defense in tackles Saturday night with nine total, five of which were solo. Woodson also finished the game with one TFL, as well as a pass defense.
