Alabama closed the regular season with exactly what it needed: momentum, resilience, and a place inside the Top 10. After a hard earned 27–20 victory over Auburn in the Iron Bowl, the Crimson Tide remained at No. 10 in the latest AP Poll, positioning themselves squarely in the national conversation entering Championship Weekend.

This week’s poll featured little movement at the top, with Ohio State holding firm at No. 1 behind 61 first-place votes and undefeated Indiana staying at No. 2 with five first-place votes of its own. Georgia sits ahead of the Tide at No. 3, followed by Oregon, Texas Tech, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame rounding out the Top 9. Alabama’s No. 10 ranking places them in the final, critical tier of playoff hopefuls close enough to strike, but with zero margin for error.

And now comes the opportunity they’ve been fighting toward all season: a chance to win another SEC title. This time, it will be a second showdown of the season against the Georgia Bulldogs, whose only loss is against Alabama in September.
