The Arizona Wildcats football program jumped up to No. 18 in the College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings after beating Arizona State in the Territorial Cup.
These Week 15 rankings do not feature the Sun Devils, after they entered the Territorial Cup as No. 20. UA was No. 25 entering that game.
The Wildcats took down the Sun Devils on Friday, Nov. 28, in Tempe. The final score was 23-7. UA improved to 9-3, while ASU dropped to 8-4.
This likely means that UA will be ranked in the final CFP Top 25 ranking for the second time in three years. The Wildcats were ranked No. 14 in the final CFP Top 25 ranking in 2023.
Several other Big 12 teams made the ranking: No. 4 Texas Tech, No. 11 BYU, No. 15 Utah and No. 21 Houston. The Big 12 championship game will be played between Texas Tech and BYU on Dec. 6.

UA and ASU finished fifth and sixth in the Big 12, respectively. UA beat two teams, Cincinnati and ASU, that were ranked at the time the game was played.
Both teams have a bowl game ahead. Those bids will be announced on Dec. 7.
