The Clemson Tigers are officially heading to a bowl game for the 21st consecutive season.

The Tigers (7-5) secured bowl eligibility with their 45-10 win over Furman in Week 13, then followed it up with a 28-14 victory over rival South Carolina in the annual Palmetto Bowl to close the regular season on a four-game winning streak.

While Clemson's season was a far cry from where college football analysts and fans alike had envisioned, coach Dabo Swinney never takes bowl games for granted.

"I'm excited about the postseason," Swinney said on Dec. 1. "I don't know where we're going to go, but we'll have a great time getting ready to go play somewhere."

After Sunday's bowl game announcements trickled in, Swinney and the Tigers now know exactly where they'll be spending bowl season.

What bowl game will Clemson football play in?

Clemson will play in the 2025 Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in New York on Saturday, Dec. 27.

It's the first time the Tigers have ever played in the Pinstripe Bowl, which debuted in 2010. The game has featured an ACC team every year since 2013, and it pits the ACC against an opponent from the Big Ten annually.

Last year, the Nebraska Cornhuskers defeated the Boston College Eagles, 20-15, in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 28.

Who is Clemson football playing in a bowl game?

Clemson will face the Penn State Nittany Lions in the 2025 Pinstripe Bowl.

Clemson and Penn State (6-6) both entered the season ranked in the top five of the preseason AP poll; Clemson was No. 4, while Penn State was No. 2.

The Nittany Lions fired coach James Franklin on Oct. 12 following a third straight loss. Franklin was hired as head coach at Virginia Tech on Nov. 17. Terry Smith is the Nittany Lions' interim coach.

In a bit of a twist, Clemson defensive coordinator Tom Allen held the same position at Penn State last season.

Kickoff for the Pinstripe Bowl is noon ET on Dec. 27. The game will be televised on ABC.
