Where can I watch the CFP rankings for Oregon football?

It’s hard to believe that we are already in November for the college football season, and conference title races are heating up across the sport. While the Oregon Ducks have a powerful 7-1 record with their only loss coming to the No. 2 Indiana Hoosiers, their path forward to the Big Ten title game is not clean, with Indiana and the Ohio State Buckeyes likely to meet in Indianapolis for the big showdown.

Look forward, Oregon’s path back to the College Football Playoff might be a bit murky as well, should they fail to win the remaining four games on their schedule. With a lack of impressive wins, its fair to believe that the College Football Playoff committee might penalize Dan Lanning and the Ducks for a weak schedule, which could put them on the outside looking in, even with a 10-2 record.

We will find out a good bit of information on Tuesday night, though, as the CFP committee reveals their first set of rankings for the year. Here’s everything you need to know about how to tune into that show, especially with the ESPN/YouTube TV developments:

Oregon football CFP rankings projection

There is some speculation as to where the Oregon Ducks are going to be ranked in the first set of CFP rankings. In both the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25, the Ducks are ranked No. 6 in the nation, but we will see if the CFP committee penalizes them for their strength of record thus far.

How many teams in College Football Playoff 2025?

This is the second year where there are 12 teams in the College Football Playoff. For the first 10 iterations of the playoff, there were only four teams invited.

How does College Football Playoff format work?

In a change from last year, the seeding will be different in this year’s playoff. No longer are the highest-ranked conference champions rewarded with a first-round bye. Instead, it is the four highest-ranked teams in the nation who will receive the bye weeks in the playoff, while the five highest-ranked conference champions get an automatic qualification.
