ESPN reveals broadcast crew for Iowa football's ReliaQuest Bowl matchup

With the 2025-26 postseason matchups officially announced, ESPN revealed its announcers for the ReliaQuest Bowl between No. 23 Iowa football (8-4, 6-3 Big Ten) and No. 14 Vanderbilt (10-2, 6-2 SEC), which will occur at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., on Dec. 31.

According to ESPN's press release, the ReliaQuest Bowl between the Hawkeyes and Commodores will feature play-by-play voice Roy Philpott, color analyst Sam Acho, and sideline reporter Taylor Davis on the call.

On the radio broadcast, ESPN has designated play-by-play voice Troy Clardy, color analyst Je’Rod Cherry, and sideline reporter Marilyn Payne as well.

Obviously, Hawkeyes fans can also tune into the Hawkeyes Radio Network to hear play-by-play from Gary Dolphin and Pat Angerer to provide vivid descriptions of the action.

The ReliaQuest Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Dec. 31 and will be broadcast on ESPN.
