Here are the social media reactions to Texas A&M's 10-3 loss to Miami

What a way to lose your first-ever CFP game. Texas A&M could not muster a single touchdown in a home game after having three weeks to prepare. There are a lot of changes coming, and to go out losing 10-3 is going to sting for a while.

When it comes down to it, Marcel Reed was not compelling enough when you needed him to be, and the run fits that have been inconsistent all season long ultimately got the best of them at the end of the game. It's going to be a long offseason after what was a mostly enjoyable season to watch. Coach Mike Elko will have to hit the transfer portal hard and find a QB coach who can get the best out of Reed moving forward.

For now, A&M will have to handle all the talk of being a fraud because they couldn't perform when it mattered most in back-to-back games. 11-2 feels just like 8-4 after ending the season with a loss to Texas, which knocked them out of the SEC title game, followed by a poor showing in the subsequent bowl game. It's not all negative, as the Aggies have shown progress, and now they need top-end talent to close the margins.

Below, you’ll find some of the reactions from social media following the loss:

Too many mistakes to overcome

Similar ending to last year

Not the best ending to the season for Reed

A&M has to go all in on making the offense as Reed-friendly as possible next season

And just like that

There is still a lot to be excited about for the future

Things are headed in the right direction still

Less than ideal way to end the season

Sad but true

A lot of progress has been made in two years under Elko

Not the ending Aggies wanted on to the offseason
