Six Berks County players, including five from state finalist Twin Valley, were named to the 2025 Pennsylvania Football Writers’ Class 4A All-State Team, it was announced Wednesday.

The Raiders on the team were senior running back Drew Engle, the BCIAA Player of the Year, senior offensive lineman Greyson Miller, junior linebacker Lucas Myers, senior linebacker Ryan Rementer and senior Ben Grundy, who was chosen as an athlete.

Wyomissing junior Justice Hardy was picked as a defensive back.

It was no surprise the Raiders placed five players on the team after going 14-1 with their lone loss to Southern Lehigh in the PIAA Class 4A championship game.

Twin Valley won the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 4 and District 3 titles this year.

Engle, a Navy lacrosse recruit, rushed for 2,095 yards on 224 carries for a 9.35 yards per carry average. He rushed for 32 touchdowns. He also caught 7 passes for 61 yards and a touchdown.

Miller, 6-1, 260 pounds, led an offensive line that dominated opponents most of the season.

The Raiders rushed for 4,254 yards and amassed 5,687 in total yards.

As explosive as they were on offense, they were just as stingy on defense.

Myers, 6-1, 210 pounds, and Rementer, 6-1, 200 pounds, anchored the middle of the defense as Twin Valley had three shutouts and kept opponents under 20 points until the state quarterfinals when the Raiders beat Susquehanna Township 41-21 in what was also the District 3 championship game.

Grundy was the team’s leading receiver with 24 catches for 471 yards with 7 touchdowns. He also played defensive back and returned kicks.

Hardy was a two-way player for the Spartans, playing defensive back and running back. He gained 979 yards on 91 carries for a 10.76 yards per carry average.
