As the Alabama Crimson Tide shift their attention to the CFP quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl against Indiana, they will be doing so while dealing with a few injuries similar to last week, with some of those having occurred during the win at Oklahoma this past Friday night.

Among those injuries are two prominent starters along the defensive line in Tim Keenan III and LT Overton, the latter of which missed the Oklahoma game entirely.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was asked about the status of both recently during his Monday afternoon press conference, updating each heading into the Indiana game.

“I know Tim was a little bit sore after the game, but I’m expecting that he’ll be good to go," DeBoer said. "Maybe still working through it here early in the week, but we’ve got some time, so, expecting him to be good to go.

"LT, just continue to monitor him. Definitely not ruling him out right now, but we’ll continue to evaluate him and see how things go here in the days ahead.”

DeBoer also updated the injury status of defensive back Red Morgan on Monday as well, another player who was a bit banged up following the conclusion of the CFP first round win at Oklahoma.

“Lower extremity, Really kind of the same as TK (Tim Keenan)," DeBoer said. "I would expect him to be ready to go, but the last couple days and today, he’s still a little bit sore.”

Of those three, both Keenan and Morgan saw a significant amount of action against the Sooners. Overton missed his second consecutive contest after not playing in the SEC Championship Game, and the status of the defensive lineman will be something to monitor going into next week.

Alabama and Indiana are set to meet in the CFP quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California on Thursday, Jan. 1. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.
