The No. 10 Miami Hurricanes defeated the Texas A&M Aggies in the first round of the College Football Playoff, earning them a spot in the Cotton Bowl on Dec 31 where they'll face the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State earned a first-round bye as a result of their No. 2 seed in the playoff, and they're gunning for their second consecutive national title this season.
